The Rumors are True

Chuck has gotten numerous calls tonight asking if the rumors about WDKN are true. Unfortunately, they are. We now know that the station is going dark permanently. For Chuck, the numbness and shock haven't quite worn off yet, and I'm sure it's much the same for the rest of the fine and loyal WDKN crew.

I'm sure that once the dust settles from all of this, I will write more about the situation. It's terrible to see over fifty years of a local staple come to such an abrupt end. I feel awful not only for the staff who kept the station going for so long (my dear husband included), but also for the great listeners who have held WDKN so close to their hearts for so many years.
