Yes, I'm Still Writing.

I haven't mentioned writing in a long time, but believe it or not, I'm actually putting pen to paper these days. Or fingers to keyboard. Or chalk to sidewalk. Whatever it takes to get these ideas out of my head and onto the page, I'm doing it.

My latest freelance work is going very well. I'm currently doing work for a company that I absolutely adore...the communication is great, the editors are superb, and the assignments are always interesting. I'm doing quite a bit of diabetic articles, but really, I never know what is going to show up in my inbox next. If only all freelance work could be this much fun!

I've done a serious overhaul of The Green Room over the last several weeks, and I'm more pleased than ever with the result. I've been working on this one for a long time, and it's gone through many transitions. I'm happy with where it is now, so it's time to start finishing up those other books that have been simmering on the back burner.

Tonight I'm working on an article about Grinder's Switch Winery, which is one of the coolest places around here. If you haven't had a bottle of Honeysuckle Rose, you don't know what you're missing. I might sip a bit of it while I'm writing the article...fitting, yes?
